MIZUHO OSI ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF INSITE"
Union City, CA. December, 2011 -- Mizuho OSI announces the introduction of the new INSITE™ multi-procedural surgical table. The initial product previews were during the North American Spine Society meeting (NASS), and the Radiological Society of North America meeting in Chicago, IL at McCormick Place Lakeside Center in November. Mizuho OSI developed the INSITE™ table, which incorporates a carbon fiber frame construction with a low profile base. This allows for 55" (143cm) of metal-free interface for imaging devices in order to address advancing spinal and imaging requirements. INSITE™ is a multi-procedural surgical table with a radiolucent cantilevered design that allows for real-time intra-operative imaging and is compatible with the BodyTom™ , the world's 1st portable CT scanner, "O"Arm, and all "C"Arm imaging devices. The INSITE™ table features an open trapezoidal frame that facilitates spinal surgery with all the benefits of the company's previous tables. The table's positioning capabilities are prone, prone with skull tongs for cervical management, supine and lateral when using the radiolucent supine top. "Mizuho OSI is dedicated to developing innovative products that enhance the surgical needs of healthcare professionals and continue to provide improved patient outcomes," said Steve Lamb, President and COO of Mizuho OSI of Union City, California.
